So much to catch up on...
It's hard to even know where to start. Thomas and I went to Florida from 6/10-6/15 (our third trip this year!). It's always so nice - I wish we could always go every 2-3 months, it's such a great reprieve for both of us. I get to spend some uninterupted time with Tommy and my parents get to spoil both of us. :-)
A few notes about developments...Thomas is starting to recognize letters! He recognizes "O" consistantly and we are working on "P". His vocabulary is really expanding rapidly - it seems that he is learning new words pretty much daily. Some recent ones from his books are: "apple","zebra","icky","yah'tee" (not sure where this comes from, but is incredibly consistant - every time he sees a lion he immediately points at it and says "yah'-tee"),he knows all the major parts of the face (head, eyes, nose, mouth, ears), "bunny", "duck", "flower", "kitty", "hi", and "outside". I think he's saying "nah-maw" for my grandmother and "ah-mah" from my Mom. Counting is about the same, he seems to comprehend the sequence of numbers, but does not consistently count yet himself.
He is jumping up and down and loves to do this on beds - it's very cute, but I'm (of course) afraid he is going to fall and hurt himself.
More on the trip and swimming later on...
