Actually...

For my first snippet -

Emmett left last night to be with his Mom for her surgery today. Before he left he told Tommy where he was going and when he would be back (we have finally realized that this really helps). Before he could get on the road, however, he would need to get gas in the car so he took the atm card and went to get some gas.

So....a few minutes after he left to get the gas, Tommy asked me, "Where did Daddy go?"

I said, "Daddy went to go and put gas in the car."

Tommy: "Actually, he went to go help Nana get her knee fixed."

Pretty good sentence for a 2 year old, eh?
